Frequently Asked Questions

  • We ask all clients to show up for their first meeting 10-15 minutes early in order to fill out initial paperwork. The first meeting is an opportunity for your provider to assess your concerns and develop a mutual understanding of them. Some questions that are covered are your current symptoms, the history of these issues, use of drugs and alcohol, family history of psychiatric illness, and past history of treatment. Also, the first meeting is a chance to begin discussing expectations and goals for therapy or a course of medication.

  • This means that you are required to cover a certain amount of the cost of treatment before your insurance company begins making payments for services. For example, if you have a $500.00 deductible you would need to pay for $500.00 worth of services out of your own pocket before your insurance would cover subsequent sessions.

  • To make an appointment, please call 401-356-1940. Press "2" if you would like to be seen in the Woonsocket location or if you are interested in learning more about TMS. Press "3" if you would like to be seen in the East Greenwich location, are interested in learning more about suboxone, or if you would like to meet with one of our telehealth providers.

  • Insurance is encouraged, as out-of-pocket expenses can be prohibitive for many families. However, all providers do have out-of-pocket rates, so feel free to call and ask. Therapists in particular charge $150 for intake sessions and $100 thereafter.
