Lenty Gordon, LMHC
I am originally from Costa Rica. I moved to the USA a little over twenty years ago. My motivation to move to Rhode Island was to pursue a master’s degree in International Business at Johnson and Wales University. I had to take a job at the Providence Center as a Case Manager to pay for my tuition. Working at the Providence Center was a career changer for me, as I felt that it was my calling to help others to improve their quality of life and reintegrate into society. I got married and started a family a few years later. I am the proud mother of a 14 year old girl that is my constant motivation to strive for a better me and to set a great example. I am a happy person that enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, music, decorating spaces, going to the beach and entertaining friends. I completed my master’s degree two years ago in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling and I am currently pursuing my LMHC licensure. I am happy and excited to start this new chapter in my life and very grateful for the opportunity to continue to provide services to this population that is so special to me.
