Penelope Yanni, MD, Ph.D.

Hailing originally from England, I came to the USA for graduate school. I subsequently did my medical training and obtained my Ph.D in Pharmacology and Neuroscience at Albany Medical College. I completed my residency training in General Adult Psychiatry at Brown University in 2004.

I have been treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis and ADHD at Plaza Psychology and Psychiatry since then, and am now the President of this organization I love so much. I have completed specialty training in EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization and Reintegration) due to my particular interest in working with adults struggling with the aftermath of childhood and adult trauma.

Dr. Yanni sees patients at both the Woonsocket and East Greenwich offices.
